African urban population is expected to double in the 25 years. How can we endeavor together, in a spirit of true solidarity, to unlock the mysteries of the spirit of progress and development for the future of the children? And what about Asia, Middle East and the rest of the World?
Many Many Beginnings, today celebrating only its first month after publication since June 6th, 2020, has made a provocative yet insightful introduction to reveal complex forces that distracted and still distracting generations from focusing on how to reveal such mysteries and what it took to some pioneers to overcome them.
On this of all occasions, I should be remiss if I failed to acknowledge the influence of that great minds in so many disciplines on my own work, an influence without which I should not be writing this post. Many of my contributions, and especially those in communicating human rights and preservation of Nature, might be described as varied reiterations, elaborations, and extensions of United Nations Programmes themes; this post is no exception.
Digging into detail to bring up Economic Theory, I must admit that
from that moment in Freiburg, I took on the determination to make ordoliberalism’s contribution known to a wider audience, and I commenced immediately an artistic and philosophic translation effort that took some maturation time and more recently and luckily considerable help from an architect, Damla Sevil before final publication.
Besides art and literature, those who are interested in Institutional Theory would embrace any idea of creating new markets or unlocking the potential of the dormant ones. An example of how this idea looks like in real life in the example of organizational problem solving - in a significant sector of transport, is presented in the video below.
Yet, more importantly, another example, this time about educational problem solving, and how such an idea can look like in real life- is currently being implemented in pocket sites across continents- without coordination which hinders potentials of reaping huge benefits. For this, one needs first to internalize a significant, apparent mechanism.
If the educational utility is zero for each individual member of the community, the total utility for the community cannot be other than zero.
Stripped to its essentials, Many Many Beginning’s message was clear, elementary, and self-evident. Economists should cease proffering policy advice as if they were employed by a benevolent despot, and they should look to the structure within which educational related political decisions are made. Armed with wisdom in our genes of ancient times, everyone and I included, could and should dare to challenge the still-dominant orthodoxy in global educational economics.
Today after 30 days of its publication, readers from Indonesia to Brazil, Turkey to Norway, from Taiwan to Sierra Leone have been responding to this message asking the same question within a united spirit:
What can I do alone to amplify the final statement of # book Many Many Beginnings?
"All states should prioritize education system reforms country by country for the protection of a peaceful, non-violent human family. To change the cumbersome structure of education in the world, we need statemen who can be asked for an account in education for an education system that is accountable, questionable, and more efficient in terms of results."
